Did anyone ever heard of this?
last week I found some Piano dealer which sells them.
It should be as close as possible to emulate a real piano when connected to your pc (Bosendorfer 290/Steinway 5.1) for example.
Do any of you have experience with a silent Piano?

A friend has this Yamaha piano that has a silent mode. Don't know the exact model, sorry.
It looks exactly like a normal upright piano. If you press a special pedal it will not hammer the strings, but only generate electronic sound. Not especially for the PC, you can amplify the sound with any system.
I find the sound extremely convincing. At a low volume I was convinced I heard the piano itself, but it was the electronic sound. Yamaha has a couple of digital pianos that sound pretty good, and also respond OK to played velocity.
