Well it can't be broken if it ain't even there.. so no problems then, eh?

following the conversation I come to the conclusion that Gordon's 'fix what ain't broke' must be meant rather metaphorically than literally
Exactly! I was being metaphorical.

Anyway I am not sure what loop recording is exactly, and why I would want it. What I really hope is that Fruity remains the well crafted host that I know and love.

Best,
Gordon

loop recording is also known as "fruity kryptonite"

it instantly makes fruity developers run away feeling deathly sick

So, why doesn't your girlfriend like FL Studio? I'd hate to see the size of her list...

agreed not a single post after the mention of it..

thats too bad, thats why i rather its not mentioned...
it will never be implemented anyways...
would have to re-code the whole sequencer from scratch,i think they feel as if its not worth the trouble...

thats too bad ...
but i think they should at least add he 1/32 or 1/64

Mine doesn't have a "mute" button either, although I'd settle for the volume slider. I guess that's why I spend more time with FL too :hihi:

how complicated would loop recording really be?
you can record in song mode! song mode plays one pattern after another in their playlist order. so. wouldnt loop recording just be another option "pattern" - "song" - "LOOP" while loop is something like song just with the active pattern repeated over and over again! hm.

I have one gripe about fruity, and synapse. Fruity will not render the synth bundle from synapse (hydra, plucked, scorpion) properly! Exciton had the same problem but Yuji fixed that one, explaining how fruity renders different than most. This is very inconvenient. Other than that, it's audio recording is a bit annoying. No other complaints though.

Well maybe those Volume/Pan envelopes would be nice...

And I just hope that the devs will see that theres a 20percent truth in every conversation.

(I hope those 20 include surround sound)

Can you expand on that a bit? I actually use Hydra and Scorpion quite often and I haven't noticed this, which means that something is probably going on :)

But remember...they needn't defend themselves here but for extreme cases...if your 20% applies across the board, I'm sure they're well aware what their paying customers want...even if it has to wait a while in the pipeline...but f**k! as others have mentioned...what more could she do at this point than make our damn coffee?! :D....surround sound...what percentager would you say even have the equipment for it now?.....

thats bullshit, you CANNOT set the sanp or quantize to 1/32 or 1/64 ....
yes there is a way around this so you can program you drums as such but it should be standard.

Post

but u CAN set the snapping or quantize to 1/32 or 1/64

Post

Maybe he means like an auto-quantizing function??
