woggle - I grab all my UVI stuff from either Audiodeluxe or JRR shop. You pay in USD which is significantly cheaper than the EUR pricing on the UVI site.

Paying the price, which the seller charges, isn't a fraud, AFAIK.

Agreed - You've got to explicitly inform the online retailers if you want to deny purchases from overseas customers and/or enforce VAT (as per Izotope and Plugin Alliance). The customer should not be responsible for the developer's/seller's failure to follow international online VAT procedures

please don't :D

as far as i know, the seller doesn't pay VAT tax - the buyer does. if there was no VAT charged during transaction (which is the case for any overseas resellers - they're not in EU hence you don't have to pay VAT for those sales), you're not missing any money anyway. if you make people pay VAT with overseas resellers, nothing changes for you - only for the buyer, who is now at a disadvantage because of this stupid EU tax which shouldn't exist in the first place.
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

I don't think European VAT is applicable to foreigners buying online - in Australia we pay a tax on everything we buy online from overseas - but only if the business we buy from has registered to collect it. I think, it is a new tax here for goods under $1000

Has the demo been updated (or will it)? I requested a new download but didn't get an email yet for some reason (been about an hour, checked Spam). If the demo is staying at 1.0 for now, I won't try again, but if the demo has been updated, I'll give it another go later.

Sampleconstruct wrote: Thu Oct 18, 2018 5:25 am Fantastic plug-in, very versatile, pristine sounding (or the contrary if you abuse it correctly). Here are two demos I made during the Beta-phase using two of the presets I made for it (Guitar Dreamer/Drone Abyss):

As people keep on asking me about the preset used in the demo above: I made it for the Plate factory library and it's in the “005 - Experimental“-folder, named just like the demo track “Dream Guitar“.

Hi otristan, I've now tried twice today and haven't gotten an email with the new links. They're not going to Spam either. Using a standard gmail address. Something going on at your side? I got the initial email over the weekend without issue, but those links have since expired. Is it possible that because a demo license was already deposited in my iLok account, that the new download links aren't being sent?

Should be fixed now.
You can either reenter your email address or use the link from the previous email.
Our web developer has reseted the demo email database as well
