Yep, not going to happen I'm afraid. Since we got rid of it we've had a much more stable and more attractive looking interface than anything that was ever possible with the colour editor. It also means we can add bits of UI and make changes without breaking the way every body's app looks.
It's just not possible with the way the UI is compositied to edit elements. It just doesn't work in practice.

Is there a chance that we could have something like what's offered in Studio One?

How about adding a 2 or 3 shades of grey to the color pallets? I Prefer less color and having grey would make the colors I actually want to use stand out rather than get lost in the rainbow effect.
