[Solved] S1v4.1 64bit doesn`t detect some plugins

I`m stuck at this point and out of ideas:
AA Gold2 doesn`t work at all even jbridged (64bit->64bit), works in Reaper demo
Sknote Disto+Marconi1 only work when initialized with Reaper demo
Current conclusion is it must be the S1 version.

My question is:
can some confirm this on W7(I tested there as well) or W10
either with such above or other plugins?

Does some have above working with latest or earlier v4 versions?

They don't work (as in crash or hang) or they don't show up? If the latter, are you certain you have correct folders set in the options? Have you also checked that when clicking the "wrench" in the top-right corner of the browser those plugins aren't hidden? Also, when you launch S1 there should be some info that plugin crashed & was disabled or something to that effect.

you`re right, I wasn`t specific with AA Gold2: it isn`t detected at all,
AA Gold is detected (predecessor of Gold2).

In order to get some hints, my question is:
does some have the situation plugins basically do not work in a way in S1v4.1
but worked in former v4 versions?

A Bingo would be if some have AA Gold2 working in S1v4.1 and give me a Holla ...

Ok, if some runs into this issue (Windows):

moving entire content of S1 settings folder into a backup
(can be found via S1 help -> open settings folder)
the then empty folder forces a plugins rescan.

Since all S1 settings are gone
could be the desired vst folder(s) have to be entered again
in order to find them.

A not ideal knee-jerk action as settings have to be readjusted
but missing plugins are recognized then and ready.

Had to go through the exact process everytime an iLok protected plugin had failed validation because I had forgotten to activate it first. Next restart S1 doesn't even bother to re-scan and it's not being blacklisted either because after resetting the blacklist the plugins would still seem non-existent.

Deleting the prefs inside the x64 folder (probably even Plugin-en.settings is enough) is sufficient however - that resets Plugin and Audio Engine settings and forces a compelte rebuild of the plugins database.

Yes, after a bunch of trial and error my guess is it`s enough to move out the pluginsettings file
to cause a rescan, I`m not there yet. Came to this point by reading it.

I`m not sure but my impression is v4 has some validation issues,
AA Gold2 for example was already written into the settings but only showed up after rescan.

If of interest I`ll write shortly the remedy of this issue after confirmation it`s the plugin file.
