Thanks

BTW, Once I release v2.9.7 -probably tomorrow-, I will work on 2.9.8 to fix the memory leak that occurs when loading waveforms/wavetables (and samples). I will quickly merge my changes for SM1 onto 2.9.8 and hopefuly the 2.9.8 beta should be loaded as soon as tomorrow maybe (for samples I haven't fixed it yet but for waveforms/wavetables it's fixed for SM1 so should work for SM2 as well)

Awesome!
Also, please take a look at SM1 EQ, the hipass-lowpass in the EQ is not working.
Thanks!

1. NEW: Added 50 new hardstyle presets by Fragment Audio
Man... some of these presets are terribly loud compared to others in the same group. Just tweaking my mod wheel on the preset "ARP Evolution" almost blew my monitors - and not in a good way. :x You need to get your patch contributors under a blanket policy of keeping peak volume under a certain decibel level.

This is a problem with alot of synths. Why does anyone need a preset or any individual track to be 0db. First move is to drop the channel fader. It would be nice if we could initiate a standard of say....-12 db. I realize that the live guys using standalone may want it a bit hotter......or maybe not.
We jumped the fence because it was a fence not be cause the grass was greener.

Be good if developers in general with instruments incorporated a Global Volume preset level that overrides any individual preset levels. J

a preset shouldn't go over 0dB when the fader is at unity.
I shouldn't need to drop a fader to stop a patch from peaking, it's severely unprofessional.
Everyone's a DJ and a preset designer nowadays, and 99% suck at it.

I actually normalized levels for the new presets around -6dB/-3dB but didn't take modwheel changes into account

Good to see you back. Lately I've been heavily utilizing Synthmaster to do some game sound design, and after getting over the initial UI learning curve I gotta say that I really enjoy its capabilities. It's a really versatile and good sounding synth indeed, and very inspiring once you get the hang of it.

Can't wait to see what you have in store for version 3. Hopefully easier mod matrix access among other things :D Anyway, thanks for keeping it up to date.

Rob Lee once made some black skin on cover - it will be nice if some day there is official black skin.Cheerz :)

i would be grateful if the gui bugs in the satyatunes skin (tranquil blue) would be fixed. on the browser page the letter "t" is missing from the word "preset" and on the fx page in the vocoder tab in the modulator window the background of the default gui is shown. not sure if everyone is experiencing this but i have it here with win7 64bit and the 64bit version of synthmaster.
cheers
p.s. i already wrote to support but no answer since a few days... :(

Red lines sticking out absolutly on all skins. Orange has actually image doubling. Also the graphics animation, like filter, waveshaper are stuttery, at least on FL Studio 20 (1440p screen) :)

Just a small critique about the GUI. In general ever since ive learned about Synthmaster the GUI feels unfinished and it still is (even Satyatunes who is great at making skins made GUI that looks worse then default because of texture, color choice, even tho it looks more practical how everything is assembled). Even Red skin witch imo looks best, still feels unfinished because of how module on/off indicator contrast is comparing to the whole tone of the skin, it just pops out so much :) Most of the time i just use Orange (and i dont like Orange color at all :D ), because its the one that feels mostly "finished" like. Synthmaster really needs a proper GUI overhaul, but looking at Skins in GUI editor, i doubt this will happen, because even making small edit is so hard using that tool and probably this kind of GUI design is in the roots of the synth ? :)

I know its all about the sound, but good looking polished GUI is much more inviting to program/use the synth :)

I dont know if everyone is going to agree or disagree, but i think this is something i had to share, because some of plugin developers tend to overlook the looks. And it doesnt need even to go bling bling in the looks, just simple, clean, logical, polished look :)

 that you guys even see those red lines. I can't! All themes (I'm not saying skins or GUI's in relation to colors anymore!) for Synthmaster are all dark! :-o

I would very much praise it if Synthmaster could get a theme like the SynthmasterOne monochrome one. That's my favourite GUI! :)
