'Tis the season of sales (although some companies have them every week...) - what deals are you waiting for??

Greetings Earthlings,

Admittedly some well-known companies seem to have sales every week.
Nonetheless, with Black Friday / Christmas / New Year (and even some Halloween) sales now rapidly approaching, what tasty morsels are you hoping might be available at a bargain price soon?


It's very easy of course to splurge a load of wonga on items that I don't actually need - I have about 15 years' worth of software purchases to back this up

However, after collecting more than enough synths and FX in recent years (probably like most of you), I'm now trying to only add items that step away from what I already have.

First, I'm hoping that MeterPlugs might offer some discounts on their excellent mixing/mastering tools Dynameter, LCAST and Perception (I already have K-Meter):

Second, Soundiron seem to go in for Black Friday deals, so I'm hoping to nab a few of their exotic percussion libraries, namely: WhaleDrum, Imbibaphones, Bamblong and Circle Bells.

Lastly, I'm not sure how often Soundsdivine do sales, but I've got my fingers crossed that I might be able to pick up a couple of his excellent Largo soundsets: Time + Space 1 and 2.


Frankly, I'll happily limit myself to those products from those 3 companies if on sale during the coming couple of months.
(And if they don't go on sale during this season, I'll accept the reality of the situation and just pick them up after New Year)


Anyway, what products are you hoping to snaffle at a discounted price during the next couple of months' sales?

(As cunning as a fox, I can then read your answers and get some more ideas, if necessary!!)

I need some new headphones - second pair for production use rather than performance. I've use DT-770 M for drumming - probably get the DT-880 Pro. Do Thomann do sales..?

I've managed not to get Kontakt 6 update - I don't think they'll drop the price on that. The instrument editor sounds interesting (as I write bash scripts to map to SFZ, it gives me a reason to refresh my luascript). If they do, I'll grab it, I guess... Still can't be tempted to Komplete in any form, though - I own too many of the parts I'd actually use.

Nah. I just got Syntronik cheap, and the 10 for 1 TrackS deal, so I'm good. I can't imagine there being something else out there that would make me jump at it.
