From your description of the piece I was afraid it was another bombastically epic blah. Instead, it was quite different and much better. Good creative use of the trailer effects.

I thought it was quite measured and restrained, with a strong expectation of drama. It would certainly fit the bill for any of the suggested usage scenarios. Clean, spacious mix.
