Folks, from "Saturation" module description:
As a note, if you are using this effect
it is worth enabling oversampling in the global
options menu.
But i not see any oversampling button\setting in global option menu of Byome (gear icon in upper left corner)
Or i misunderstood something.

I bought BYOME for a number of reasons, and I think the sound quality is outstanding. However, I think that it needs parallel and feedback routing like previously suggested to begin to realize it’s full potential.

I don't think you missed something. I couldn't find that setting anywhere.c_voltage wrote: Sat Oct 27, 2018 1:36 pm Folks, from "Saturation" module description:

maybe copy/pasted from another manual (of an upcoming granular instrument)?

Love the concept, but I find the vertical scrolling interface far too cumbersome, especially with a mouse. Not being able to insert new effects between other effects directly seems really cumbersome. Currently find Bitwig's effect chains to be easier to use and much more flexible (they just need to add more units!).

Agreed that adding effects at end of chain is cumbersome.fceramic wrote: Sat Oct 27, 2018 2:16 pm Love the concept, but I find the vertical scrolling interface far too cumbersome, especially with a mouse. It should ideally work where if you hold an effect at the right or left edge of the GUI, the plugin knows to begin scrolling. That would really alleviate some of the inconvenience.

Right click on the effect after which you want to insert a new effect, choose "duplicate effect" and then change the effect type of the duplicated version to the one you want.fceramic wrote: Sat Oct 27, 2018 2:16 pmNot being able to insert new effects between other effects directly seems really cumbersome.
That's still not ideal, but I find that method to be quicker than to drag the new effect from the end of the chain to the position I want.

D'oh. We had global oversampling in an earlier build, but removed it due to complications with memory management for reverb/delay/modulation effects (along with significant overhead required for oversampling those already expensive effects, despite not having any real impact). As a compromise, we have oversampling always internally enabled for effects that really need it, like the Ladder Filter. I'll update the tooltip to remove the confusion.c_voltage wrote: Sat Oct 27, 2018 2:19 pmThanks for info.33tetragammon wrote: Sat Oct 27, 2018 1:44 pmI don't think you missed something. Would be nice to:
1: ...automate the on/off state of the modules (for live use).
2: ...see the actual values when moving a knob.
3: ...scroll the modules left/right, using the mouse wheel.
