Other than Propellerhead's Recycle, is there any other software that is capable of slicing up a sample loop?

I'm aware of Ableton Live's "slice to midi" function but I'm just asking about stand alone software or even a plug in.

Reaper, I've used that to slice up multimic drum recordings for realignment.

Thanks and forgive me for my lack of knowledge..I'm BARELY starting to get acquainted with Reaper since so many people are saying it's their go to tool. How do you do this in Reaper?

I basically went by these - alignment is a lot of different stuff, and there's also the matter of grouping the mics which you don't need, but what you are looking for is also included among the steps.

Kontakt and Falcon can slice loops. Chicken Systems Translator can create rex files, but not rex2 files.
