I am not kidding. I have a standard saw (pre loaded) and when i dial in noise, there is no noise... . .Tried the sound color (right mouse click) to change the noise shape as well...nothing..

OKAY....never mind. Just opened a new project with 1 avenger...it works. I must be crazy (or too tired.....)

Is it normal the phase number show now up in the oscilator before it was on the bottom

About the multi samples.

You can really hear that they only are sampled in the C E G# keys in every octave. The rest of the keys sound HF shelfed at about 12kHz.

It makes me hesitate to use them cause it's a very apparent quality loss.
Is it the sample engine that's not to good or is there something else?
Maybe the sample engine need an update for higher quality conversion?

I hope you guys sampled all keys and have them stored so we maybe could get a hold of them in the future? ;)

Anyone know if the way you add multi samples was updated some time ago?
Or do you still have to rename them? If so, it's not really user friendly and take a lot of work.
I also remember reading about sfp? Is it easier to add samples in a sfp vst then open in Avenger?

Can you make an easier way of adding multi samples?

Drag correct notes to a keyboard.

If you have every key sampled, drag all samples to the first key.

I have many multi samples so this would be great!

I can't get response from Vengeance regarding license transfer.
What is the policy? Does it become NFR after I purchase license second hand?

Post

Hi also please confirm nicole@vengeance-sound.com is the right email to write to for license transfers.

yes, instead there is now "keytrack %%" for every OSC independently in the lower corner. This means, you can now use this while in cross FM mode... so one osc (the modulation one) can stand still (no pitch) etc...

no, not all. Depends on the sound. A piano, guitar or string for example has much more, while a synth usually (especially a dark, sine etc.. kind of synth) does not require more that this interval. A pure sine for example can be used with a single 1file wave without loss. Loss is only occuring when have much overtones (anti alias) or strong modulations (accerlated speed)

Do I need to re-download content after purchase, or is demo content the same?
Edit: Found in faq that content is same.

I sent query to Rene to find out what R5 is.

Post

R5 is the 5th version of the approx 5gb content file, which is separate from the version number of the plugin.

It does seem a little inelegant that you have to download the whole lot each time and import it right over the existing set up just to add a few changes, the Spectrasonics method of adding small updates would be preferable, but no biggie really.
