Awesome! I was trying to get the reverb to sound a bit more like 112db Mikron Reverb, mouse modulating the predelay got it sounding a bit closer (lush).

I agree with AnX. Its just confusing. I thought this would be a thread about the most iconic snares of all time but .. No.

Guys, sorry about the thread name change, I thought everyone knew by now that this is the Fathom thread. But I can see it would be confusing since there's no way to know that when it appears in the instrument thread list. From now on I'll use the word "Fathom" in the thread title even if we deviate in subject matter.
We got onto the subject of snares after discussing the new Fathom demo which will be coming out later this year. It's going to be a real EDM song with a singer, released to the clubs.
Normally this thread is for reporting bugs but there have been absolutely no bug reports from the field for the last two or three releases.
Also, there were no new features in the last two weeks because I've been regression testing 100% of the time in preparation for a major marketing drive for Fathom. I will be sending a free copy of Fathom to all the youtube synth review channels, and want to make sure everything is rock solid.
So we can get off the subject of snacks and snares and back to feature requests soon. The next big thing for Fathom (after CPU efficiency) will be analog distortion and the Sampler. So this is a good time for feature requests.

Well, congrats for such rock solid releases then, Everett! Well done!
Still stepping back for a bit. I hadn't had the time to view the clips, but I wondered if my iconic snare sound was among them: Fine Young Cannibals - She Drives Me Crazy!

Man, that is so crazy, FYC She Drives Me Crazy actually started on my list. That is indeed "THE" most iconic snare (for those of us old enough to remember when that song was a hit), but a close listening of the song revealed that the "iconic-ness" of that particular snare was more due to the way the song was produced around it than the snare sound itself, which I believe was a purely 80's electronic snare. So the song ultimately got replaced in my list by songs with better sounding snares. However, that song does indeed remain a prime example of how important it can be.

Feature requests.. Simpler is a wonderful sampler, I love the ability to set loop start and end points on the fly by modulation, great for generating pads with reverb and some intetesting rhythms. Also, a granular feature would be great, The Mangle for example can create wild armospheres. PolyGAS is a great example too.A slicer is another feature that's nice.
The most basic request I would make modulatabke loop start and end points, measured as a percentile of the sample length.
