Hello
im having a really weird problem
I play Embertone piano in standalone and it sounds good, pretty good, but when I play the same library in MainStage(or any vst for that matter) it sound like different, like it has a high pass filter by default without any eq or other plugin in the master chain.
I tried to create new concerts and in all happens the same
any of you have any light about this?
Im using High Sierra in a MacBook Pro 2012 with ssd and 16Gb ram

No idea, this is not logical. Project sample rate is the same as your audio hardware sampling rate?
But there may be one subtle effect enabled: the Placebo effect.
Small difference in volume, the visuals,

I thought that as well but after many days I really find that the sound it's different from standalone in any vst(Kontakt, CFX garritan, Addictive Keys, etc) so it's pretty weird
I use Behringer Umc204HD and the interface drivers with Sonarworks(which made me realize more this issue)
it's like part of the stereo field is blocked (the low end part) for putting in words

I just tested PianoTeq in standalone and in Mainstage and heard no difference. Maybe if you can record the output of both, stick them on clyp.it and put a link here - if there is any actual difference it will be heard.
But as BertKoor said, there is no difference in the way the way OS (for standalone) or a DAW (MainStage) creates the sound; the thing makes the sound and it goes to the soundcard. Did you check the project sample rate? That would be only thing you can adjust in MainStage which might alter the sound.
I would also double-check your channel strips in MS and make sure they're empty.

Do you use ASIO drivers for the standalone version? If not, the audio might go through some "audio enhancement" nonsense. I took me ages to figure this out on my old laptop. It came with some kind of waves "enhancement" nonsense enabled by default. I don't know if and how this applies to Macs, however.
That's the only thing I can think of at the moment.
Edit: Nevermind, it seems like you are using the same drivers for the VST and the standalone.
