I had an idea for a new project...
There are a lot loops sold out there, but I would want to change the approach of that a bit.
What I would want to create are short tracks with drums & bass in a certain style. There would be no techno, trance,... stuff but the classic styles rock, jazz,...
Each "style set" would contain a separate drum track with fills, variations and ending and a couple of bass track over a typical chord progression in two or three keys.
From those style sets you could then create your propre bar-loops.
You can find a demo of such a style set here :
http://www.bucodi.com/rony/demomaster.mp3
On this demo the drum& basstrack has been mixed together. Of course in the style set they would be separated.

I would sell this at really low cost, I have my job and don't want to get fulltime in this bussiness. But it has to cover the cost of making it.

Now my questions :
- Do you think it's a good idea ?
- Would you buy this ?
- At what price ?
- What could be improved on this idea ?

I would allso be interrested if somebody could host this and act as a distributor.

I'm interrested in all ideas.

Orion Platinum has a 'styles' feature in the latest beta, and very cool it is.

Basically, you load up a 'style' say a DnB drum pattern, they load up a jazz piano 'style' etc etc. Great for fusion work, and no need for samples, so it is all transposable, and can play at any tempo 8)
