cubase recording midi problem

Hi ,
When I try to record midi in cubase , it starts 1.5 bars before .. see the below example:
Why does this happen ?How to solve this ?

You have set it to cycle; in this case it's going to start at Left Locator by definition, which it does.
It doesn't matter where you place your cursor, it happens to be 1 and a half bars ahead of Left Locator here is all.

See that purple button on the Transport Bar with the loop icon? Toggle out of that state; or you can click on the track where you want to start the new recording and press P or whatever the command is for cycle marker and it'll place a new locator there. IIRC.

what I am saying is I started playing only from bar 3 , but you can see the midi notes from bar 1.5 ..

there are several things that can cause that. The first thing to check is that use windows timestamp is selected in your MIDI configuration options (the place where all the ports are listed)
If you have to ask, you can't afford the answer
