if you two do not mind, ill be keeping my socks.
not only are they clean on today (cheeky bastard) but they are being worn for the first time ever! it was only a fortnight ago i purchased 20 new pairs for the colder months. as last years all got binned to make room for summer socks.
sadly, they no longer did the black ones, so now all my socks are dark grey. which makes me feel like an old man. only way it could be worse is if they where brown

Wait, I have an example: instead of even thinking about writing all of these lines which form a cloud (Ligeti Micropolyphony) I use granular synthesis. I bet Ligeti would - wait he was doing it bouncing tracks back in the late 50s - if he had the capability. But my laziness am definitely enabled by today's technology, if not by teh DAW'ses.

both as producers and consumers. What used to be personal,
and take some effort, can now be vicarious, instantaneous,
and in some cases, the product's market value
has been trivialized.
You've traversed many learning curves, understand
the vernacular, and can visualize paths to scuccess.
A lazy person with a daw full of shortcuts
might make some good music. But it will be
as unique, and last about as long as,
their next cheeseburger.
A hard working person with the same daw, should
be able to produce much more memorable results.

Yep.
IMO todays DAW’ses do not make people lazy. They enable lazy people to “produce” lazy works. In the hands of an artist they enable people to make art. Ok, 10 page discussion on art...
How about: in the hands of a “not lazy” person they enable one to create deeper creations?
