Problems with random "Ocean wave" static sound with Tracktion

Greetings,
I have just downloaded Tracktion with the purchase of a Berhinger mixer. There is this constant ocean wave like static sound that plays back regardless of if a recording is playing or not. It started when I i installed it before I even hooked up my Behringer board, I there something I need to unlock, it sounds like this is some type of way to prevent piracy. How can I get this to stop?
Any help would be appreciated

You're correct...although you have downloaded and installed the software, you still need to register it with your email address. That will eliminate the noise.
