I found a seemingly good deal on VintageWarmer 2 online.

Anybody use this plugin?

I have several tape saturation plugins: Decapitator, Satin, Magnetic II, Saturation Knob, and Kramer Tape.

Is VintageWarmer 2 worth getting? Anything it excels in?

Thanks

I guess I'll have to try the demo.

I got the demo and liked the plugin so I found it on dontcrack.com for around $75.

I like how easy it is to use the plugin and get great results.

I’ve been using it since it was first released. I have a few compressors, saturators, and limiters and I’m still impressed with VW2.

Cool. I like the way it sounds and works.

It's also very quick and easy to get the sounds I want.

Any other PSP plugins worth checking out?

I like all the delays, but their GUIs are too small for me to general recommend. Although if you’re good with VW2, you should be okay.

I've been using that thing for years and years. I kinda forgot about it for a good long while because of buying a gazillion other saturation plugins, and felt a wave of nostalgia hit me as I decided to try it for fun again one day. And now it's back to being in regular use here. It's a plugin classic as far as I'm concerned.

I totally agree. It is a classic, and it’s sound is still excellent.

I've always thought it sounded more like a preamp than tape emulation, and moved on to SoundToys Radiator & Black Rooster VPre73. For tape I like Satin & Magnetite.

Satin is cool. I like how easy to use tapewarmer is though.
