Just wanted to check in with others here on this. We all know Cubase rescans our VST during DST.
Have you ever just updated one or two plugs however, and Cubase initiated a rescan, not just of the updated plugs, but say, another dozen seemingly random plugs?
I have had this happen many times, but after upgrading to 10 and still seeing that happen, I was wondering if anyone knew why this happens?

no, only the updated or changed vsts get scanned here

Usually that is the case. But about every 7 or 8 times, suddenly something else gets freshly scanned. Today I updated SoundToys to the current version and about a dozen of random other plugins got re-scanned before loading Cubase.
No big deal, but it is strange.

Back in the day, this happened to me all the time with older Cubase versions. I haven't tried 10 enough to find out
