Hello everyone, if you know spacesynth well maybe you can help me out. I have been all over the web looking for patches for vsts like synth1 such as basses, leads, stabs, strings, pads, so on and so forth. I have been having no luck. Does anybody know any banks I could use?

C'mon guys, I really need help here!

First, you need to understand, there's no correct answer. :D

I think you can begin with synths which emulate 80s sound. There are too many to list here, Synth1 for example is like Nord Lead. Then see what kind of patches are available. There are about 20 000 free patches available for Synth1 (+ commercial ones), but which is correct for YOUR spacesynth music is impossible to predict.

Here's some discussion:

But if you want to do things like Dynatron does, you can begin with almost anything. It's more of an mind set then. What kind of sounds, reverbs, etc. you like.

Here's a motherlode of Synth1 patches:

Some commercial ones (not all) are listed in KVR.

For relevant commercial synths I'd recommend Togu Audio Line (TAL) synths. They have some free ones also, quality is very good. TAL-U-NO-LX is Juno-like, so it's both 80s and Spacesynth / Synthwave staple.

The free PG-8X will get you some useful sounds as well I think. It's an emulation of the Roland JX-8P synth.

You'll find a bunch of presets for it here on KVR:

And it will load sysex files for the JX-8P as well.....

As Markku said earlier in this thread; the website of TAL software is also a great place to take a look. TAL-U-NO-LX of course (recommended!), but there's also the free TAL chorus plugin which emulates the Juno chorus. Instant 80's flavour!

Thank you guys, this really helped me out! :)
