1) Kompakt

1) Kontakt and Kompakt are almost identical except for editign abilities.

2) there is an option for 'other'
As The Doctor one said....rubbish!!!! :?

How can Reason's sampler be a option but not FLS, Orion, or Project5? :x :?

Once again....people are making excuses for Reason. :uhuhuh:
Because commercially invested developers often prepare sound libraries for Reason's sampler. You very rarely see sample libraries made specifically for orion, FLS or project5 now do you?

This was asked from a development point of view. The poster is interested in which samplers commonly developed for have the largest userbase.

Tony man, just dont talk anymore, you have no clue what you're sayin.
I already had to verbally dress Sickle's punkass down earlier for disrespecting me at another thread earlier today.

And I wouldn't have any problem to do the same to you Robert (considering that you have gotten too comfortable to just [ironically] come in any thread where I'm located to throw a negative attack on me at the wrong time when I know I'm Making a serious (not stupid) point on a serious topic. :x

And besides, with the upcoming FLS 5,6,7,etc., I hope that one day people would take FLS as seriously as they take Reason seriously. :)

Do you still have a problem with that Robert?

Just make the music that you enjoy (failing that go for a walk, watch some porn, have a fight with a random bloke until something else happens).

if your only listing samplers that have libraries specifically built for them

why is sfz in the list?
have companies started making libraries in that format?

would phatmatik rate as a sampler?

VSampler for instruments.
DR-008 and RM-IV for drums and percussion.

I still have the S-330 and the DSS-1 :o though I'm not using the S-330 anymore.
And the DSS-1 only serves as masterkeyboard.
