Here you can see DAW Integration of NI Komplete Kontrol MK2 in Cubase. This even works with my ‚old’ Cubase 8 Pro!

And here is someone making the case for Presonus to support it. So far to no avail.https://youtu.be/fTVx54Y1lUg

Looks like a fair number of folks waited to upgrade, like myself. :)
Judging from that other S14 thread, I thought a lot more had ponied up for it at release.

The upgrade price was too high, IMO. I decided I would not pay more than $99.

I have to say that I don't feel the urge to upgrade to V4 even at that (great) JRR price.

Please remind me guys why I should go for it; what's that new feature that made you upgrade?

Here the complaint thread in NI forum re lack of NI keyboard and presonus integration

I get auto-updates on the thread. The latest comment is more of the same "NI why won't you do this?!"

Lol, I think you've won the game right there if you're fine with S13. :tu:

For me, I prefer the new look, the step sequencer and changes to impact. I honestly can't remember
what else has changed at this point, since my demo (which was far from comprehensive anyway).

For the most part, I think I just upgraded out of habit, to get the latest and greatest.
I don't think it would be a bad idea to skip it at all, minus any real interest in doing so.
Of course, I use a number of hosts, and don't have any critical projects riding on S13 atm.
I got the coin for it, and I don't have an NI keyboard.

So, it's why the f..k not, for me...basically  I've been waiting for the damn price to go
down anyway.

Next time I'll wait for a sale as well, I think. Upgrade price is very steep.

Kevvvvv,

And here is the Presonus side of complains/requests:https://answers.presonus.com/search?q=Komplete+kontrol

As said, that might be company politics. Clearly this is bad for the users on both sides. Having said that I also had problems with Studio One and Arturia‘s Keylab MK2. I think they should get their act together with support of premium midi keyboards. Because like it or not, Akai/NI/Arturia/Novation etc. seem all to come up with deeper/custom midi mappings and VSTi-wrappers. And strangely ‚old‘ Cubase 8 Pro did them for me without need of deep diving midi settings. At least I made this experience with Komplete Kontrol MK2 and Arturia Keykab MK2. With Studio One Pro 4 I had a lot of probs with these keys.

Cheers
Frank
