Wicked. The middle section trips out big time. Great synth creations. Only ST2FREE and Sonik Synth 2 FREE eh? You obviously "get it". Boy, you are going to freak when you have Sonik Synth 2. It really is an endless source. I am sure you can imagine.

Funny how you used the vocal as a sort of mellotron flute type sound. What host do you use? How many tracks was this? My favorite part is the second section with the crazy fast beat and synth madness.

Wow.Absolutely outohmygodstanding.

Sorry, I don't mean to hijack this thread, but perhaps my question has a quick answer, and we can all get back to enjoying the music...

I have not tried any version of Sonic Synth yet, but I really liked SampleTank. The only reason it is not on my computer is because of the overly restrictive copy protection. From what I understand, I can only install the product a limited number of times. This does not work with my strategy of reinstalling Windows as necessary (sometimes once a year!)

Although I don't like copy protection, I can understand the desire, futile though the excercise may be. However, I draw the line where copy protection inhibits my ability to use the product.

Native Instruments copy protection is fairly strict, but at least I can deactivate and reauthorize my computer as necessary from the web site. My understanding of the SampleTank license was that I could only do this a limited number of times, and that this was non-negotiable.

Perhaps I have misunderstood how SampleTank licensing works...please correct me if I'm wrong!

You'll be happy to know that you can authorize it as many times for your own use as you need. You get 3 automatic authorizations and then the rest you would have to get from tech support. They'll want to make sure it is you who is using it that's all or people would take advantage. Bottom line is that if you are the original purchase you have the license to use it and you will not be left without the ability to use it if you are reformatting your computer or even using it on a few computers. But, anyone else using it would have to have their OWN license to use it and they'd have to get their own copy.

Ohh yes... :D

Actually, I'm cheating a bit. I've loaded the free sounds into the full ST2 engine. The free engines provide the same functionality though, don't they?

Glad you like it. My host is Cubase SX2.2.

How many tracks? Hmm...

In order of appearance:

Drums
Soprano tron
Warped Baritone Guitar
Voice lead
Synth Arp L
Synth Arp R
Monster Square Bass
Mangled Voice
Fizzy Saw Wave

So that makes nine tracks. Not many huh? :D

Forever,

Kim.

Well, that is good news. I thought you got three and that's it. It would be nicer if they had a web interface to deactivate and reauthorize, but as long as tech support doesn't give me a hard time, I'm pretty much ok with that.

Thanks for the info...I'll have to start saving my money!

Nice work Kim, see my comments in the cafe. Good use of a limited pallete mate!
