I know many good sample cds for drumloops, but i've used the same set of one-shot drum sounds for a few years now and it's getting old :P
most of the one-shot stuff I have is free stuff from around the net, collected over a couple of years, but I actually don't know any decent one-shot drum sample cds.
i'm looking for everything, both real kit sounds and electronic.

AND i'm not into modules like BFD or whatever...

thanks! 8)

I don't really know what sort of drums your looking for but these are some good libraries I use often :

wizoo - electronic drums - i think I read somewhere that this was the first 808 & 909 sample cd to actually have a license to sample, there are alot of electronic drums here and not just the usuall 808 909 stuff but hevily tweaked ones.

wizoo - acoustic drums - alot of great kits here

Yellow Tools - Pure Drums - great acoustic drum kits for all styles

http://www.kenfen.com/html/zip-o-drumz.html - it's downloadable and cheap :)

For straight up drums of all types I use Dorumalia's Superdrums 8000 and for quirky stuff I use BlisterPak. :)

Hi,

Well, I can recommend "Techno-Trance Essentials" if you're into dance music. It has some great kick drum samples that don't sound like they were chopped out of someone's loop. Also "Dance Mega Drums" is a solid release that I use a lot. I've also used drum samples from SampleTank, Plugsound, and e-Lab's Obession (only the last one geared towards drums specifically).

And of course the collection that I've sampled from people's records.

Dance Mega Drums
SampleTank
Plugsound
Obsession

Good luck,

a second nod for 'dance mega drums'

I purchase Toolshed Percussion from Bigfishaudio and it has some very cool regular drum sounds mixed in with all the great metal shop/odd percussion noises. It cost me about$100, but it was worth every penny.

i also like dance mega drums, wizoo electronic drums, native instruments synthetic drums and the modernbeats-samples.

to select correct drum sample cds though, u really need to narrow it down to a genre, or a few genres, because there are alot out there, the best imo, are the specialized ones, not the general kit type stuff

This one is not bad and really cheap:

I HIGHLY recommend Doru Malia's Superdrums 8000. Yes, the 8000 means there's 8000 one shots!

Great guy, posts free stuff around here all the time(as well on his site), and at $29.00 how could you possibly refuse?!? Wav format or Reason refills. No I don't work for him, I just like to spread the word on fantastic deals. :D Check it:
