Shreddage libraries Amp sim needed?

It's better to get a dedicated ampsim IMHO.

Yeah. Particularly with that one, you probably want an effect that included amp ain't got.

All good sounding ampsims go well with it. Kazrog, Kuassa, Mercuriall, Fortin Nameless, LePou, TSE, Ignite Amps...

Yep, Caliburn is plain awesome.
I would say that Metal Amp Room is starting to show its age. There are much better metal ampsims out there now.

Shreddage 3 features much-improved built in amps, pedals, FX, and cabs with the modular Console feature. Of course, a 3rd party amp sim will still give you even more options.
