I just bought Drums From Hell 2.
I'm using the AU version of the plug in Logic Pro 6 on a dual 1 gigahertz G4, 1 gig of RAM, samples on their own hard drive.
I'm getting constant drop outs and crackling. The drive is 7200 RPM with an 8 meg cache.
Could someone post their Kompakt settings? I've gone through the recommended settings, but it impacts performance very little.
By the way, DFH2 is one of the best drum libraries I have ever used. Ever.

I have the vst version myself. I had the same problem myself. There are some different options in the DFD extension that you should try. It's going to vary for every situation so you'll just have to tinker. I would get most of my dropouts on the mixdown. Has this happened to you by chance?
I like the kits and the sound but the version I got has missing samples and is pretty much buggy all the way around. I would love to try out the DFHS but if I'm going to spend that kind of money I'll go for the BFD instead. It seems to me to just be a better all around drum library and a lot more flexible.
