This looks very interesting. Is there any danger, that the organizer messes up your present computer file structure, i. e. does the AI move physically the locations if the files? And if you uninstall the application, do everything remain the same as pre-installation?
No it doesn't mess with your files or folders. It just scans them so it knows where everything is, and what category each sample is. After it has built the map etc, Its just playing samples off disc. With a few fancy features!

Cool. I wonder how well the AI scan algorithm recognizes abbreviations of drum/percussion sample names, some on the names are shortened in a code language. Do you know, what is the typical correct identification %. :?:

Best, if the AI could listen the files, not just looking the names or types.

Thats exactly what it does! It doesn't use filenames like other programs (which has problems), it uses audio only. You would be amazed how many samples are mis-labeled.

I'm testing out Sononym - maybe I should compare it to the Iced Audio One? It does seem to support more formats but I like the similarity feature in Sononym, although the auto categorisation doesn't seem very accurate. If it had any intelligence, even artificial, you would think it would take some cues from folder names I have already sorted stuff into as well as filenames themselves! lol

Still it is on sale tomorrow....

ADSR Sample Manager and LoopCloud - are they good enough? They are free. I haven't had a chance to test them.

Post

Personally I don't like that the ADSR one is only a plugin, it means if it crashes, and it does, it brings down the host too
