I just bought Pro-Q2 Saturday -- am I wrong to hope Fabfilter offers a free update in that case?

Probably not a false hope. At least they say so in the YT comments.

Their upgrade prices are usually pretty steep.

IPad version confirmed as well (later). :D

No revolutionary new features... dynamic eq, mid side processing, maskmeter, etc. But the ease of use and excellent sound quality of Fabfilter make this a must have for me. My most used EQ.

They should have made a new plugin out of it just so that people have a real reason to complain about the price XD Last update price was 50 bucks for a complete overhauled plugin, a no brainer. Anyways looking forward to it. It has potential to replace a couple of eqs, dynamic eqs, spectrum analyzers, ai masking plugins, mb comps, ...

EQ that already changes the sound in default, eq with audible phase problems, filters that ripple besides the targeted frequency. Already seen in very cheap filters right from the dsp book for dummies :tu:

Ah ok. That makes sense. What are some examples of bad-sounding EQs plug-ins? Just curious.

If I had known this was coming out I would have spent my BF funds completely differently.
