Which Black Friday offers could you resist though tempting?

Maybe more interesting than where we couldn't:
I skipped the Arturia update. Will wait until they implement MPE...
I was tempted to get Razor as it is only part of Ultimate, got instead Loom for almost nothing and better wait for Sumu...
Same with Razor, no MPE, though in theory I could modify it to support MPE, but I should first do that with some of the other Reaktor synths...

crusherX - good instrument but I have more than enough to explore and it is expensive with no resale. I'm actually getting rid of some good synths at the moment that I had even before BF. Time to consolidate and get a deeper understanding of less.

The sales aren't technically over yet but up 'til now I have resisted to buy Acustica Ruby, BFD3 and Surreal Machines Dub machines.
Couldn't resist updating the Arturia bundle though...

HALion
Great software
Costs little money, but too much time
Also Spitfire Audio/Fanshawe that I love to listen to but can't yet figure out how to use....

The ones I managed to avoid even though I really wanted them are:
Additionally, I bought Kazrog Thermionik at 29 USD (40 SGD, one of the cheapest amp sims ever, so which means no buying of the aforementioned amp sims despite Kuassa being cheaper than Thermionik) and DrumDrops Modern Folk Rock Kit at 11.29 GBP (20 SGD) just to get free Neutron Elements (again I was trying to avoid useless cheap plugins except for amp sims, which makes me a hypocrite because I would still get something I never use anyway). Now even more companies joining in on Black Friday makes it so challenging to resist.
Total wasted money: 110 Singapore dollars (80 USD) on plugins. That double digit adds up a lot.
Edit: For sake of clarity.
- Free Soundspot Ravage Lite (I don't want anymore useless effect plugins clogging up my inventory, and I have failed to sell Soundspot plugins second hand)
- bx_rockrack V3
- Kuassa Amps
- Audified AmpLion (70% off guitar and bass bundle making it double digits, like less than $50)
- Overloud TH3
- IK AmpliTube 4 and SampleTank
- Native Instruments (their greedy decision to not allow cheap Kontakt crossgrades)
- Heavyocity Scoring Guitars 1 and 2
- More Impact Soundworks Shreddage Guitar and Bass products
- Even more "realistic" guitar virtual instruments
- Realitone Fingerpick 2.0
- Realivox Ladies/Blue

I was seriously considering Crusher-x but decided it was way more granular than I need.woggle wrote: Wed Nov 28, 2018 10:33 am crusherX - good instrument but I have more than enough to explore and it is expensive with no resale. So far I have resisted Eventide's H910 Harmonizer $99 from $249..
I demoed it earlier this year and it brought back so many great memories from back in the 1970/80's..
it was so so so so Harmonized, it was fresh, it was refreshing... gushes with >> stfu tooner..
Also resisted Newfangled Elevate... but still 2 days to go, so no self awarded medal yet!!
Oh and Reaktor... I keep threatening my CC with that but with VCV_Rack so embedded in my psyche I ducked.

Also, when the next paid upgrade comes around youd be pretty disgruntled at the high upgrade cost.Gamma-UT wrote: Wed Nov 28, 2018 1:45 pmI was seriously considering Crusher-x but decided it was way more granular than I need.woggle wrote: Wed Nov 28, 2018 10:33 am crusherX - good instrument but I have more than enough to explore and it is expensive with no resale. I just checked my purchase history and since 2000, Ive only paid for about 4 updates including the crossgrade from Live to Studio.

Skipped blow out sale on Avid's Eleven rack guitar fx for $199.
I really didn't need it with my hardware amps /pedals and vst emulations I have. But Eleven always looked cool. Plus GAS really grabs me on no brainer clearance deal.
No worries, I helped the music economy plenty this year, lol ...
