Music Theory Distilled -- new video series

Hi -- I recently completed a three-part set of videos on the most essential parts of music theory: melody, harmony, and rhythm.
The plan was to cover just the basics for musicians who want a rough outline of how modern harmonic music works. The videos assume no preexisting knowledge. They are for total beginners, or musicians that have big holes in their music theory knowledge. (People that already know scales, modes, chords, etc, will not find them useful.)
The videos move pretty quickly. There are minimal examples given: this makes them less instructive, but more condensed, which was the idea. Think of them more as a reference, rather than a "course" on music theory.
Hope they are useful!
Here they are.

You called your first video Melody, yet you didn't say a single word about melody itself.
What is the melody? How do you build a melody? etc. - those were the questions someone watching that video would probably expecting to see some clues about. Yet, you spent ten minutes talking about "scales".
No, this video isn't about melody. It has nothing to do with melody because melody has nothing to do with scales (let alone that rubbish talking about "modes" from scales, which I will not even get into since I'm tired of discussing that).
Just to give you some insight, you can create a melody without the slightest idea about what is a scale - and it doesn't matter.
