Will Dune 3 be finally released or will I have to torture puppies ?

Ok, I fell into installing Dune 2 demo... again. I know a couple more things and now I understand it better. I'm surprised the control panel is not cluttered with knobs. First one of the manyive been testing the last few weeks.
I finally understood what was this differential unison engine. That one blew my mind. Insane.
At the same time, I see there's still plenty of room for improvement on the user side. This first time I saw something I disliked about it. That amateurish interface. It simply doesn't look professional, polished, finished. But this second time I noticed less obvious virtues. Extremely responsive, not funky or cheesy, not too skeuomorphic (Lush-101, seriously). It is just missing this "polished" look other products have.
Regarding usability, there are quite funky decisions.
But overall, I now know a couple more things and I finally understand why so many people love it.
All in all, not for me, but the foundations are very, very solid. Dune 3 could be my new go to synth, who knows.

You know there are a ton of alternative skins for Dune 2 right ? Some are quite far from "amateurish".

One can assume that given time DUNE 3 will also have a similar selection of third party skins. Or you might find the default "professional, polished, and finished".

How? Don't SA use the demo mode where the plugin simply ceases to work after a while?

Maybe he got a new system........

Why? I would want to mark Favorite presets and option to search through presets.
For example I like the sound, but next day i forgot it's name. And i need to check one by one to find it again. It would be faster to work with searchfield and "favorites".

i class presets as bloat, elaborate browsers just exacerbate that
anyway, its the same browser, you will have to make your own folder called favs and resave them into it

Not bloat, but a way to organize space for productivity.AnX wrote: Thu Nov 29, 2018 6:42 amStan Navi wrote: Thu Nov 29, 2018 6:35 amWhy? I would want to mark Favorite presets and option to search through presets.

Yes, but time goes on . Sylenth1/Spire browser style is old, messy and uncomfortable.

No, not a good point at all - he does not owe you guys and your unfounded (only ever so-slightly hinted at) insinuations any explanation whatsoever. How is that your business? (hint: it isn't)
Personally I can't stand that shitty witch-hunting mentality at KVR at all anymore - it sucks donkey's balls.
