Let's test this assertion.

As it was a bit generic indie/Britpop music wise, I decided to throw in some 70s jath-funk stylee middle 8 with sinthesiser solo, a sub Mick Ronson guitar solo, bit of vocoder action, and of course some glockenspiel.

Sounds good. I'd have put some vocal harmonies in the refrains. Love the glockenspiel!

Great song and performance. Vocal could be more up front in the mix.

The instrumental breaks are fabulous, I loved 'em. Can't go wrong with a glockenspiel.

I heard a little VU in the guitar towards the end, otherwise not a lot of Lou Reed (and I might be the world's biggest fan of "Sister Ray"). But that's okay, we've already got one Lou, and I came here for the donkey tugger anyway.

Lou Reed singing more or less in tune! I can't stand Lou Reed. Musically speaking or as a production it's 'better' for me than Velvet Underground, which I have no time for.
