...actually it's a big problem. I'm curious if anyone else out there has had trouble trying to use "Edirol Orchestral VSTi" in Ableton Live 4.03. I just made the switch to Live but Orchestral can't seem to fully load up in Live. It hangs.

I really need to use that VSTI

I drag Orchestral over to a midi clip like any other VSTI and the Samples begin to load up. Once it gets to 100% it just hangs and Live freezes up. I have to control-alt-del.

I don't have the Ediroll library, but just a litle idea here.

I know Live has a problem with very big soundlibraries. I had that problem with soundfont players and big libraries. I added memory to the PC and don't have the problem anymore.

what have edirol said about it, anything? and have you found anybody else with that product having the same problem?

I remember reading about that in the Ableton forums. I think it's a known issue...'Guess you'll have to wait for a fix by either Ableton or Edirol.

...a problem with Ableton Live :(
