Will Dune 3 be finally released or will I have to torture puppies ?

I think that there should be clear and concise words that follows acts at the hour of declarations, no one would like to receive some official words and then everything is like no, everything just changed...

I have seen something like this before and I can tell you, is a great way to piss off a lot of people, the point is if he can't release Dune 3 by the time already specified by him, then he shouldn't say anything in first place feedings expectations of the people; it will be seen as a someone that just want generate hype intentionally (I don't think that is the case). perhaps he will release Dune 3 as he said.

I consider Dune as a very capable synth, perhaps who knows if in a future I will get it, for now I'm happy with some others.

As for the release of Dune 3 it was said to be "scheduled" for release at the end of November. As we all know unexpected things can pop up last minute or perhaps they decided to add some extra features at the last moment.

As I've said before I'd rather have it right than right now.

You just prefectly proved my point. That you're not able to think outside of your black/white scheme. If i wouldn't be interested in it, i wouldn't post about it. It's just that the things i dislike most about it is also the things which are most important to me, unfortunately. I never had an issue with Dune's architecture, GUI, performance, or other things. Obviously, for you, that translates to a general dislike. Because you lack the ability to imagine that someone could think outside of stupid like/dislike, love or hate schemes. Well, that is a personal issue you have, not the reality.

That's not it. That's not how professional business works. He can finish it, prepare the site, announce the release date - in two weeks, go on vacation, when he's back - release and start doing customer service.

You don't think he's coding his ass off right now, do you?

His mates have been having it for months without any bugs, just doing preset design.

The expectations and hype are too much.

The hype sure is.

DUNE3 will be another virtual synthesizer among many, yet its as if something momumental was about to happen, like the studio finally getting electricity or something.

Certainly could be viewed as a bit overdone.
