Request - i would like the colour blue for the play button, is it possible?

Answer - Not without a rewrite of the entire program, ps your request sucks too.

While i still like FLStudio and use it a fair bit i would like to know how color scheme's are difficult to implament in the program?

I've spoken with Gol about this and his 'methods' of implamenting the skin system are based around the standard DIB's approuch of drawing everything direct with caching.

I believe the object/control based interface would open the door to make it possible to change the hue of an object and allow for user customizable color scheme's...

Could be wrong, but i can't see how this is difficult to implament

Actually I like this idea for the play button to be blue. Not sure why though

what we really need pitch shifter & timestretcher
a playlist wich could allow fading in /out without making automation .
the play button in blue is that a joke or what lol
for the loop recording i don't know , what do you do with that give me exemples please

do you think it's worth it to get the boxed version over the DL for materials? CD,manual, etc? Would I be able to get whatever extra is on the download version once I register? (aside from the $29 lifetime upgrade)

Its all included in the DL version, but you dont get hard copies- I think that the DL version is your best bet so that you dont have to pay for lifetime updates. You could always burn a cd of the software, manual and samples(most of which you can download for free at sample fusion)

when you have your sequencer set up for 2 bars (or whatever) and it repeats allowing you to continue add/delete notes and parts

lots of things, for example you set up a beat to loop and then you play the synth bass over it and record it, listen to it as the two bar beat loops, and then re-record on the fly over it to fix some parts, and then move over to the lead synth and record that and then go on to the pads and whatever and you have your finished song.

It would be really cool, but it's really all a 'workflow' improvement, so nothing fancy to show to the press i guess. To me it sounds strange that fl can do everything but not that, mmm, they say that it wasn't meant to work like that so it's difficult to implement now, but what about the loop function in the playlist, you know, the loopback point? Couldn't somebody just improve a little on that and wham, looprecording : ) At least let's start with markers and transport control in the playlist, they're sorely missed too!
