Midi FX in FL

I get all kinds of errors when trying to use them in FL, am I not supposed to or what?

It depends. If you're using a VST/VSTi, FL, or DX/DXi plug-in that sends MIDI information out you're ok. However FL currently doesn't support MFX (Cakewalk/Cubase format), nor OPT (Acid SonyFo format) MIDI plug-ins. Trying to use these within FL will create errors.
