I updated Xils 3 -> Xils 4.

I received two licenses for ilok - Xils 3 and Xils 4.

But the old Xils 3 is now unavailable. I thought there would be two licenses of Xils 3. Is it should be? Only one license is available for ilok?

Important note : The XILS 4 license can run the XILS 3

So I suppose you just have to DL the installer and then run the Xils 3 with the Xils 4 licence.

So, in order to work on a computer without a physical key, you need to constantly activate and deactivate licenses.

But the Xils website says:

For the iLok protection, up to two independent locations are allowed per license (Computer or iLok devices)

My Poly KB II also has one license. Unclear.

Thank you, the support is excellent. Responded quickly. It turns out I have an old license. I bought in 2009, and at that time 2 activations were not provided. They replaced the license, now there are 2 activations.

I like the new effects in Xils 4. Excellent reverb and routing.

Continuous frequency sweep from 1 hz to 16khz. I remember this had been requested before. Definitely nice to have. Especially because each of the 12 regular oscillators can also modulate anything, and behave like an LFO @audio rate.

Hi like the new browser in 1.5 but i cannot find midi assignments for the stick in the parameters list seems to be missing

Not sure this will help, but I've personally always used the DAWs system for midi learn, and the stick parameters (position and range) are available from a very long list of parameters for midi learn and automation.
They're labelled "StickVrt" and "StickHrz". Same name for the Left and Right synth. The ones for the Right synth are situated much further in the list.

They seem to be missing from XILS4's internal "Midi Controlers Assignation", along with several other parameters as far as I can see. Not really an issue for me as I always use the in-DAW method in REAPER, but I don't know if this can be a problem on other DAWs.
