I don't get your definition of negativity. When I don't like something and say so, there is nothing negative about it. When one even states why one does not like something, it is constructive criticism.
But I will surely never be one of those people who say great to everything just in order not to offend someone's feelings or appear politically correct or pretend that anything is as good as anything else.

Of course I consider my taste of music better than that of people who like EDM or that loud, angry music below. That's the whole point of having favorite genres, i.e. preferring one's own taste of music.

I don't know nor care what EDM fans think about other genres. What I care about (and for the life of me I have no idea why) is people who think THEIR opinions are facts. If they think a particular musical style is garbage then it's a fact. It's not just THEIR opinion.

i think many products in general might sell better if they weren't ass-ociated with this hideous lowest-common denominator of a genre.
