i have a friend who works in a studio that has some of the bigger ones, he feels they're aking to the voice of god riding on a chariot made of candy and dreams. or something.

guess what? I dont anymore... one of those things that I got hyped all into like mad then thought, holy f**k I just coulda bought a new car for this and it's not doing anything for me but making me nervous that someone will try and steal em.
They were very good sounding though, but honestly I couldnt rationlize something so extravagent, and they just werent my style. I would recommend them though for sure.

Robert, when you say they "weren't my style", do you mean they didn't fit your type of productions, or did you just feel guilty for spending so much on a pair of speakers (perhaps money best spent elsewhere)?
There needs to be a support group for gear lust here. Maybe a forum of its own where KvR'rs could talk some sense into those "I gotta have it!" folks (like me
) Hell, I have 4 pair of monitors already FFS! But I can't hear squat like it should sound!
