Gap in the market

I'm in need of cash for the holiday sales and I think I've spotted a gap in the market - "Air Guitar"

So I'm looking for advice - what formats should the samples be in? I'm thinking probably to be compatible with Tal and Halion. Maybe the SFZ players. Probably can't afford the fee for Kontakt though.

How much would people pay for a carefully multi-sampled Air Guitar - probably using Fender, Stratocaster and maybe Les Paul Air guitar if I can source it.

Whatever sampler you pick it will have to support MPE otherwise it just won't feel right.

I'm not sure you are taking this seriously.

I usually associate "Air Guitar" with a fake-guitar player,
look here.

WAV and SFZ are very good. Everybody could use these.

I doubt that this is a good idea.

I have some good guitar libaries, all about ca. 3 GB samples,
Quantum Leap, Vienna Symphony Horizon Guitars, Hans Zimmer Guitars.
All are well sampled, but for songs I almost always use some smaller
free guitar multisamples. Why? Because they do fit better for actual
songs ...

So you can try to make money with sampling, but my
advice is: Do your guitar-sampling if you like it and if
you have fun thereby. If not, don't do it!

What's the copy protection?

I think it's made by hand

I’d only be interested if you could get some famous air guitarists involved to play their classic instruments.
Incomplete list of my gear: 1/8" audio input jack.

I'm working on some audio examples. One is "Stairway to Heaven" and the other is "Smoke on the water".

Nowadays, sadly, people focus more on GUI than sound. I know it's a bit ironical, but an air guitar also deserves a good GUI, don't forget it.
Please don’t read the above post. It’s a stupid one. Simply pass.

And we should be able to turn it up to 11.

Those guys are playing real air guitars, not fake ones. :hihi:
