wouldn't it be cool for people to post their samples/loops that they've created here for everybody to use? it could be vocals, drums, synth loops or anything? it has to be theirs of course and people should be willing to share their stuff. why should we go anywhere else? if people are honest and they've created it and are willing to share why not just stay here and find what you like. I don't know, just an idea. I don't even know the legalities and all that would that be legal if I made a certain synth loop with a commercial plug in and posted it here or a drum loop for example...

If you make a loop yourself and you give it for free with no restrictions there are no legal issues.
The sound of a commercial VSTi is not protected. Other wise you had to pay for every disk you make
