Hi all,
I'm running Cubase 8.5 and last week it decided to reset all my key commands which I managed to fix but now when I go to import an audio file I can't hear any previews of it.
Has anybody experienced anything like this before as I can't find anything online.
I've attached a pic of the window too.
Thank you
Cubase 8.5 - no sound when previewing audio files on import window

All I can think of is this:
In the Preferences dialog, under "VST\Control Room", is "Use Phones Channel As Preview Channel" checked? If it is, the audio is going to your headphone output, which would be inaudible if you don't have any headphones actually plugged in, or if the volume is turned right down, or if the headphone output is disabled in the Control Room

It wasn't that but I disabled Control Room and I fixed my problem (sorry for my n00bish level)
But my question now is how to get Control Room and Import Audio previews to work together as "Use Phones Channel As Preview Channel" wasn't selected
