Hi guys,

not sure if this is the right place, but is there any guitarists out there that want to work with me on a track? Got a great song, just needs that real guitar sound, not a synth :)

I'm not a pro but I've done this https://open.spotify.com/album/4XtT9rxoCetbI8UstAO4pb (https://open.spotify.com/album/4XtT9rxoCetbI8UstAO4pb) and I'm currently looking to do something a little bit more "electronic". Time is a constraint though.

maybe be a little more specific.
hard rock? metal? acoustic folk? camp fire singalong? :hihi:

not me though :o
my guitar sounds more like a synth than my synths these days :o

oh sorry :) it's electric track with rock/punk influence. I sort of thought of the following (but I am just using it as a reference sound, I don't want to just copy it). I need some backup sounds like and for the main guitar melody I was looking for a sound like

I wrote my own melodies, but a synth as a guitar doesn't work for me, so I need someone who can do it for real :)
So...slightly punkish would be the style?

cool 8)

in october in the music café, there was the "rocktober" contest. there where at least a couple of people in there who may be able to help.
they seem to be a core of regulars in the contests, so you could drop a link to this thread in there with a quick mention of your needs :)

Probably better to post at least a snippet of the actual track - people have more of an idea then and may be more likely to volunteer.

You're right! Here's the rough demo

as you can see it's much happier and uplifting than the prodigy track, but I think the mainlead in my tune could "sound" like their guitar melody sound. Just no idea how they did that as I am not a guitarist. I just kinda use a wurlitzer and set it on fire.
