I take it back, just updated Vox and it seems they have made it premium only now so you have to take out a subscription to use it - deleted
Black Omega is still working but has not been updated for years - I like it as it's good as accessing my Hifi over HDMI for multi channel audio and without downsampling HD content
So nothing really stands out on Mac

Just trying out a couple of new ones:
Ampado Pro http://ampado.com/
like the fact that it can browse folders (VOX could never do that) and has waveform and visualizations views
Also checking out Colibri which looks more cutdown

And Ampado sums multi channel (surround) FLAC files to mono! Crap
Looks like BlackOmega is still, by far, the best (not tried that hideously expensive Audirvana app though)
