I can only give one good advice on Ext, read the manuals, reread the manuals and.... read the manuals :D
If you still have problems ask here, there are a couple of real experts here.
It surprised me that there are feature that you think are buggy, I didn't find any for the moment.

There a couple of big advantages of Ext, it is very activly developed by a guy (Jorgen) wich is only half human but a genius in programming that stuff. :D

I played a bit with Bidule allso. there are 2 main reasons I didn't choose it.
1. bidule is still in beta so you get temporary versions for free wich are actif for certain time. That could be ok for the moment, except that you don't have any idea at what price it will be sold once the final release is out.
2. For what I've seen there is much more support here for Ext then for Bidule.

Conclusion on Ext : I really think it will replace tracktion and live on my PC. To be honnest tracktion I don't know for sure yet but Live for sure ! Especially since I'm mad with Ableton, I bought Live 3 about 6 months ago and now had to pay 150€ for the upgrade. And of course I discovered Ext after paying the upgrade, hos stupid can man be :?

Bacon's threefold goals were to discover truth, to serve his country, and to serve his church. Seeking a prestigious post would aid him toward these ends. In 1580, through his uncle, Lord Burghley, he applied for a post at court, which might enable him to pursue a life of learning. His application failed. For two years he worked quietly at Gray's Inn studying law, until admitted as an outer barrister in 1582.

In 1584, he took his seat in parliament for Melcombe of Dorset, and subsequently for Taunton (1586). He wrote on the condition of parties in the church, and he wrote about philosophical reform in the lost tract, Temporis Partus Maximus. Yet, he failed to gain a position he thought would lead him to success. In the Parliament of 1586, openly, he urged execution for Mary Queen of Scots.

About this time, he approached his powerful uncle for help, the result of which may be traced in his rapid progress at the bar. In 1589, he received the valuable appointment of reversion to the Clerkship of the Star Chamber, although he did not take office until 1608.

I would, but I seriously don't think I could add anything to the offerings from e-phonic or OdO..

And you did all of this in 8 hours???

The tracks are cool and nicely produced.

You´ll be big I tell ya!...come to sweden and have a
career! :D

track 6 is really cool!
If that´s not experimental I don´t know what is!
Thanks! I really apreciate the kind words. Sweeden? Someone told me it's the land of the smorgosbord. Is this true? I come from Wal-Merica.
Hey...I listened to your track "Cool People" on that site. Great stuff. Really gets you moving. I'm on dial-up right now or I'd check out your other tunes.
I noticed you have a MAM MB33 on your gear list. I love that thing. The tracks "303 Muy Peligrosos" and "Imminent" on my site feature extensive use of the MB33. I think I used it for the bass, lead, AND trumpet sounds. That thing sure can do a lot. I hear they're making a soft-version?
Glad you like the track! (If the label only would be so kind to release it soon)
A soft version of the MB33? I got the MkII model...I hope the software will be good, otherwise it´s kinda defeating the purpose of it as the hardware is really cheap (and true analogue...no ones and zeros here!)

@ wrenchy:

Feel free to use that "come on" as a a pick-up line or similar...I thought of it, but I won´t copyright it

During this period, Bacon became acquainted with Robert Devereux, 2nd Earl of Essex (1567–1601), Queen Elizabeth's favourite. By 1591, he acted as the earl's confidential adviser. Bacon took his seat for Middlesex when in February 1593 Elizabeth called a Parliament to investigate a Roman Catholic plot against her. Bacon's opposition to a bill that would levy triple subsidies in half the usual time offended many people. Opponents accused him of seeking popularity. For a time, the royal court excluded him.

When the Attorney-Generalship fell vacant in 1594 , Lord Essex's influence could not secure Bacon's candidacy into the office. Likewise, Bacon failed to become solicitor in 1595.

I really like these tracks. The mixing sounds good to me too (though the final track sounds a bit out of place).
BTW, although the amount of time you spent making these tracks (an impressive feat) isn't really relevant to my enjoyment of them, I do think they capture a sort of organicity that can come from that manner of working, which I really respect.
I'll be listening to some of the other tracks on your site when I have time.

Hi everybody,

Your were talking about P-1 Tape Delay-Project One on this topic. Their website is down. Couldn't find the plugin elsewhere on the web.

Any good soul to send it to me or tell where I could download it ?

Thanks very much !

Hi, i had the same idea; there is enough good free plugins for a lifetime of music making.

Will check on you stuff later, no audio here, thanks for the listing of what was used, I already found stuff I use often myself.

I am a kind of jamming type also, so I will appreciate no doubts.

I myself did an incredible week last week on eXT -many minutes of original jamming/exploration too.

My girfriend says it my best stuff to date, pretty surprising since this is ambient and I usually do breakbeat :)

What??? You? Are you serious? YES WE NEED A KRAKLI drum machine!!!!

Man I am sure I would like your take on that! Do something like u-tonic where you can program patterns, do proper drum machine pattern switching, and you got a winner! Hint: listen to all the micro-house and blip music you can, drums sounds are getting real thin and bleepy these days, do a specialized one for that genre to be distinctive....

:D

I use your Lizard amoung some other of yours...

Since I poo-pooed this idea, Chris Kerry has released some really interesting midi stuff which might make a Krakli Rythmn-Maker a distinct possibility.. But I still stand by my statement that OdOs or e-phonics would be hard to beat ( )
