The qyooo version 1.1.2 (Windows VST and Mac VST/AU) is released and fixes some problems with the pitch bend.

BTW I noticed that the buttons coordinates slightly changed(it was in previous version as well) and my skin not fits a bit.
P.S.
Did you thought about making FM synth from oscilators in there? That would make big difference and made it more advanced.

I’ll try the new version. I like the qyooo. It’s easy to create unique sounds, even stuff that FM does well. I’d love to see the following in the future from you
A Polysix emulation.
A Minikorg 700S emulation.
A Maxikorg 800DV emulation.
And an FM synth with quite a few presets on it from classic FM synths with an easy to use interface. I feel like we are lacking VST wise an FM synth like that. I’m also going to get ModulAir because it looks fun.

Plenty of Polysix emulations out there. We need a DW-8000 emulator, though.

I agree with this. As well as a Poly-800 emulation. We have plenty of Polysix emulations, and a few Poly-61s, but I can’t find a Poly-800 one, which would be awesome for the Detroit techno producers. Juan Atkins and others used it all the time back in the 80’s for a certain pad/string patch (I think).

Aside from the Korg legacy, who else is doing a polysix emu ?

Isn't Cobalt a DW emulator ?

Used to be one: http://www.synapse-audio.com/news-poly- ... eased.html Synapse Audio had one, but as far as I can tell, it's utterly disappeared. I don't think the Poly 800 was all that great a synth, but it was the first Korg I ever played, and yes... I would want a VST of it just for that nostalgia. Not too hard to emulate its sounds today with other VSTs, but those are just "impressions," and not a true, vintage emulation of it.

For true compatibility, the Korg VST is perfect, affordable, and ideal for testing your ability to read tiny print.

Not exactly. It doesn't have all the original DWGS waveforms, but a bunch of near-enoughs. And it doesn't have the same filter as the DW-8000 or compatibility with its sounds. You can get close with Cobalt in a few ways, but it's not an emulation. I do use Cobalt for other things, and it's way better as its own synth than as an emulation.

Now you've got me thinking about a Korg DS-8 VST. The old Chorg DS-600 isn't it. But a proper DS-8 4-operator FM synth... hmm. That would be fun.

The problem is that your, and now mine sorry, activities is firing off a bunch of notifications to him. If you start your own topic and discuss further things there it would not send Björn any notifications and he could relax and go on with his work. Then you would also only send notifications to those interested and responding to your topic.

It's really about the "Request-for-Other-Korg-Classics-Emulations" discussion, and I suggest to take the it into the main Instruments forum. I'm pretty sure other folks are interested in that too and will not expect it happening in a thread about the qyooo.

Maybe not spend your time on a classic FM with quite a few presets....
That's already been done....and also for free.

I already have Dexed. I’ve used some of the classic presets, like the harmonica and e piano, in my music.
