Okay, first of all, this is not a promotional post. Nor it is a fanboy rant. Just wanted to put my opinion out there.
Well, I have literally tried all the DAWs and was then settled on Ableton for a year or so. But then I recently discovered studio one 4. GOD, IT IS AN AWESOME DAW. It has literally every feature from every DAW. Want pro tool's mixing capabilities? Brilliant quality stock plugins like Logic and Ableton? Ableton like audio manipulation features? Awesome MIDI and automation features? Those small tiny features from other DAWs that you wish you had in your DAW? It has literally everything. Even the UI is good and customizable. There are a lot of small-small features that make your workflow really fast. And the CTC1 addon is a must so good sounds for so little money thanks Presonus
Now again, I am not telling you to switch over to it or anything. But then if you really want the total best of everything, just try the demo for once. Even the learning curve for it is not that much.

Well, it doesn't have either Sculpture or Alchemy 2, so it does not have literally everything that I'd want. None of that should make any difference to you, of course. Just wanted to point out that one's taste in Daws is as personal as one's taste in most other things

was for me the best daw,too,until i switched to graphic design
but for the price is worth it
especially for windows user good stock plugins

Every month or so I find my best DAW (and I think: finally!) 
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Bitwig 5, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

It is seriously a good DAW. Though project management and few other things here and there are annoying so I prefer Reason10 over it.
