This is strange, because I can still activate version 8 and 9.

Correction, WAS bundle of the year. :hihi:

Yeah, i saw that. :) Thought i'd pass on it, because Vegas Pro Edit 14 is already more than i'll probably ever need.

I installed Sound Forge 11 a couple of days back, (was already registered), had some trouble with the server so activated through the website instead.
I put in my serial but the machine ID listed in Windows 10 (DESKTOP-XYZ etc) was not what the website was looking for, it was in another format.
However I can't remember where I found my actual Machine ID :dog: but I think I looked in the about section of Vegas Pro 14. (Have uninstalled it since so can't check.) So if you have any older MAGIX programs maybe you can check the about section in them for your Machine ID.

The new GUI in V15 is worth the $25 alone, much nicer to work with.

Just when i spent my last software budget on Steam... :( :)

GUI definitely looks nice. Might get it anyway then. :)

I got the Samp X3 bundle as well, with SF 11. I installed Sound Forge Pro 11 yesterday and it registered fine through Magix authorization. The only issue is that I don't have a serial for the included Izotope Ozone plugs. No idea where they are! Luckily I had Ozone 5 floating around in my Izotope account anyway, so just installed that.
Magix are a strange company but I can't complain for the price I paid this time around for Samp X3 Suite. I just wouldn't expect a whole lot of support from them.

What the f**k do you expect!!?

Magix Midi Studio Generation 6, and a double CD Soundset of 2000 sounds I bought (I couldn't use without referencing them for any commercial work) was the last time I bought any of their products. And oh.. that was way back in the year 2000 funny enough...

Having trouble (re-)activating Vintage Effects Suite after a Windows update. Submitting email/serial pops open a window with a spinning "Connecting" indicator. It spins twice then stalls. I let it sit there for three hours until I killed the process. Tried it in multiple DAWs, made sure the firewall was open for them all, tried VSTHost, same thing.

Could not find where to submit a ticket on the Magix website. There are two places for "Pro Audio", separating the Sony assets from Samplitude. I submitted it to the Sound Forge area, and a rep emailed asking which DAW I was using. That was three days ago and I'm waiting for an engineer to get back to me.

Do you mean Humblebundle as an entity or just this specific offer?

For the first one, Humblebundle as an entity are primarily a games retailer whose business model is based on giving a share of their revenue to charity. They started by offering short-term tiered bundles of indie games at very bargain pricing, with the buyer being able to (a) pay what they wanted for the tier of the bundle they were after and (b) decide the split of that between the charity, the developer and HB themselves.
Its been going for a long time now, since 2010, and they now have about half a dozen different bundles on offer at a time, as well a more traditional game store as well, and a monthly 'subscription' (pay $12 a month, get a selection of games that would have cost $100-$200; usually a couple of older AAA titles and some indies).
They also do non-game bundles. Book and comic bundles come up regularly, and they've done several software bundles including several over the past year or so for stuff by Magix.
