That may help, but it will not have any influence in the (very) unbalanced volume output of the presets. Something like a gain compensation/limiter could be a solution here. But yeah, add that global volume option with Normal, Low and High, but place the current volume at High, maybe (I don't want to even thing the volume can sound even higher than it is now).WilliamK wrote: Fri Dec 21, 2018 7:59 pmIn my hosts they are kinda ok. But I remember that previous V6 or something I added a Volume-Output option to the global options. With stuff like Normal, Low or High. And this is saved globally. Would this be enough?fmr wrote: Thu Dec 20, 2018 7:11 pmAnother thing: Volume (Gain): WusikStation, like all your recent instruments, has too much gain. You seem to somehow tried to compensate this in the volumes of the presets, but since the volumes were already very unbalanced in WS v7 (presets were in need of a complete revision in what concerns gains) this change in gain led to things become worse. Loud presets sound even louder, while quieter presets sound even quieter in v9. I suggest you reduce the overall gain, for the moment. I will try to compare some presets from v7 to v9, and check what are the differences in ion volume. Then, you can maybe write some script to change those.
Cheers, WilliamK

Also, check if the global limiter is ON, in the Global Options (click the W logo) and check in the Master Page if its working.

BETA_18_WIN_Wusik_Station_V9_Engine.zip is there now. It has all files, including multi-out and FX versions. Plus, added the Volume option into the global menu. Default is NORMAL (no changes)
- Fixed a volume problem with legacy presets that uses the MDA Talkbox effect. EG: the Hyper Collection / Vocoder presets.
- Added a new option to FX1: Output Dry Signal, by default is ON, so you hear the non-fx (dry) signal. This is handy when using the MDA Vocoder (or any other vocoder) as a SEND instead of an INSERT.

New file BETA_22_WIN_Wusik_Station_V9_Engine.zip
Also going to upload EVE BETA 116 in a minute.
- New Anti-Click code when switching presets (also works on sections where the audio-engine need to stop in order to perform something). The volume will fade out and in with the new loaded preset.
- Added auto search code for missing sound files. If more than one file is found it will display a dialog window asking which file should be used.

The Anti-Click code is a blessing. You can't imagine how annoyed I was felling each time I had to browse presets in WusikStation.
The volume option seems to solve my problem. I put it at Low (I only have another option down, but for the moment Low suits me).
Now, I will take a look at EVE, and then try toi create some Multis in WusikStation (that's right, I didn't check that yet).
When you have a chance, take a look at the noise problem.

Yeah, I will check the other stuff out soon.
And Dnekem, I will check your file too. Sorry I'm slow...
In my head I already did the anti-click code years ago, but it was for V6...

William, you didn't include the auto-search in Wusik 8008, did you? At least, it didn't work here.WilliamK wrote: Sat Dec 22, 2018 8:19 pm Yeah, I will check the other stuff out soon. And Dnekem, I will check your file too. Sorry I'm slow...

Strange, it is there. Be sure you downloaded WIN Wusik 8008 BETA 8 Engine.zip and click replace files, just in case.

The code actually tries both, and even WusikSound files. The problem is something else, seems that the SFZ file is not coded correctly, I have to investigate this...goldglob wrote: Sat Dec 22, 2018 4:03 amThe sfz files for those are looking for wavs but the samples are flac!WilliamK wrote: Fri Dec 21, 2018 12:27 pm .........
