Is there a way to setup midi live performance in Cakewalk by bandlab?

Does anyone know how to setup midi live performance in cakewalk by bandlab? I'm talking about those videos of YouTube where people use midi keyboards and pads to trigger sounds, melodies, and sequences. I know some of them use ableton live, but is there a way to do that in cakewalk?
